Your Theory Test

For your Theory Test, We would advise you to only use the mouse during the first half of the test whilst you are being asked the questions, and not to use the touch screen.

This will keep the screen clear for the hazard perception test, and should increase your score.

We would also advise that on arriving at the theory test centre, check the state of the cubicle and particularly the clarity of the screen. If you have any concerns DO NOT start the test and go straight to the examiner in charge. Once the test has started it will be too late to fix any problems with the equipment.

Your Practical Driving Test

Below is a copy of the Questions that will be asked during the Show Me Tell Me section of your driving test.

These Questions are asked at the start of your test after you have proven your eyesight is legal and that you can read a standard number plate from 20 metres. If you have problems reading these two plates below then we would advise you to go see an optician.

The Show Me - Tell Me questions are presented in the form of two questions out of a list of thirteen possibilities. If you fail to answer either or both of the questions correctly the examiner will mark one minor point on the test report.
